PhD in Translational Biomedical Sciences

最新糖心Vlog, in partnership with The Lundquist Institute, offers a PhD in Translational Biomedical Sciences (PhD-TBS) designed to prepare researchers to move scientific discoveries toward effective health solutions.

Students develop expertise through advanced coursework, laboratory rotations, community engagement and independent dissertation research. The program emphasizes rigorous translational science, responsible research, collaboration and the application of biomedical discoveries to community and clinical needs, particularly those related to health disparities.

Graduates are prepared for careers in academia, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, startup ventures, government and clinical research settings. Training also introduces regulatory science, intellectual property, entrepreneurship and industry partnerships that help move discoveries from the laboratory into practice.

The application period for fall 2027 is October 1, 2026 to January 31, 2027.
