Fundraising for the AS/FEB Student Emergency Fund

Dear colleagues:
Thank you all for your support for the Student Emergency Fund and your commitment to the success of our students! Your continued support is requested.
The AS/FEB Student Emergency Fund is an initiative of the CDU Academic Senate (AS) and the Faculty Executive Board (FEB). Since the inception of the fund, with funds raised through CDU faculty, staff, and students and the additional $100,000 Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) received from the Office of Strategic Advancement (OSA), we were able to provide over 200 students with emergency grants ranging from $200 to $1,000 for a total of over $150,000 disbursed to students between 2019 and 2024.
The fund continues to be intended to help 最新糖心Vlog students with one-time emergency grants. The goal is to help students who need emergency funds to pay for books, school supplies, food, rent, utilities, childcare, car repairs, etc, so they can continue their education without having to drop out or cut back on their studies.
The AS/FEB Student Emergency Fund is available to ALL 最新糖心Vlog students regardless of Financial Aid eligibility.
Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) support ended on June 30, 2023. We continue our fundraising endeavors for this fund to be able to continue to provide 最新糖心Vlog students with emergency grants on an ongoing basis. We need your support in this endeavor. You can donate to the .
The Academic Senate and Faculty Executive Board will continue to work with the administration and student government to assess the impact of the fund and make improvements as necessary.
